MoRe news on Resistance 2:

In an interview with Eurogamer, Insomniac boss Ted Price revealed some interesting information about the upcoming title Resistance 2.

“We do have streaming of textures and other assets now,” said Price. “Not only does this improve the overall look but it cuts down on load times. In fact, you shouldn’t notice any loading screens in R2. We’ve also added a lot more tech-wise - detail maps, new lighting system, new effects system, better normal mapping, better specular response, redone shaders and lots of behind-the-scenes stuff that makes the game really stand out aesthetically.”

“You’ll see bigger ‘levels’ or ‘chapters’ this time around. And hopefully you won’t see any loading screens. At least that’s the plan!”

Price also confirmed that Resistance 2 will be running in 720p and at 30 frames per second.

i dnt mind it being 720p....considering my tv only does 720p, and 1080i as its highest lol

I'm hoping that resistance 2 will be like the old days on Resistance 1
ALL of us played that game and no matter what time it was (yes even 3am Mak and Dog Twisted Evil

) somebody would always be on to play it. The lobby system on that game ruled too. Man i hope it's like that.
