| sony will give you a refurbished 60gb i think even if it has no warranty, i've heard thts wat they do in the uk anyways. wat is the yellow light overheating?
anyways lets hope for a fast delivery for your new ps3 and unlucky abt the game saves. | |

| in the US they replace it for a refubished one aswell, depends on each country, the dutch are cheap basterds
its rumoured to be overheating but i keep it in the open and i wasnt playin that long | |

| did you try to unplug everything and replug it. or i've heard if you hold the power putton for 15 secs it sets the ps3 to default settings. | |

| mayb the room your playing in is still warm?, i wudn't reccommend this but mayb put it in the fridge for a few mins or move it to somewhere cool, did sony say they were going to pick up your ps3 ? if so i wudn't try anything to make it worse. | |

| well i used to do this with my ps2 is tht i'd just wack the shit out of it until it worked. becos sometimes it cudn't read the discs. n another idea was to buy a 360  i also thought spraying the ps3 with a water gun wud help...  | |

| Funny i leave my PS3 on for 16-20 hours a day and i've had no problems. I did the special fan thing though, where you hold your ps3 upside down and your fans go crazy and kick out all the dust. Look it up, PS3 Fan test.
Apparently it can damage your PS3, evidently not!!! | |
